A three-day event including teacher training, lab training, and project management team meeting was organized at Aalto University from August 28 to August 30, 2023. The event was participated by representatives of all project partner institutions.  

The teacher training was designed to enhance the understanding and knowledge of the teachers on the content and to introduce new teaching methods. Problem based learning (PBL) technique was introduced to the teachers. It was further agreed to have workshop in Vietnam on PBL with wider participation of teachers of all four Vietnamese partner institutions.  Guest lectures from industry (Helvary Oy, and Glamox Oy) were also involved in teaching, delivering lectures on “Lighting systems for the greener future - technologies and solutions” and “lighting control and intelligence”.

 Lighting measurement training was given to train to use the lab equipment, familiarize on the measurement standards and procures, and to conduct lab exercises for students. Project Management Team Meeting was also held to discuss on the past activities and plan the future activities.

The guests also visited  Aalto Design Factory, an interdisciplinary product design and learning hub uniting students, teachers, researchers, and industry.
