Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) in cooperation with Signify Vietnam organized two day online seminar for HCMUT student on the topic “Smart Lighting in Agriculture and Lighting Art” on 2nd and 9th of July, 2021. 

The seminar was great opportunity for HCMUT students and staff to learn on technology and application of smart lighting in different aspects of life. Experts from Signify Vietnam presented and discussed with the students on the following topics:

Applications of UVC lights in neutralizing Covid-19

3D printed luminaires

Lighting applications for plants growth and chicken farm

Lighting Art and IA Landmark connected lighting

At the seminar, Dr. Truong Phuoc Hoa, Head of Power Delivery Department, HCMUT introduced the  DESL project and newly developed courses to students and also provided information on registering to the courses that will be run in upcoming semester.
